Happy Finish worked alongside photographer Jean-Pierre Khazem to produce some fantastically stylised images for a worldwide campaign for Spanish shoe retailer Camper. The images were released in two stages, autumn/winter in October and spring/summer, which are the current images to hit billboards worldwide.
As the concepts of the images relied heavily on postproduction work it was imperative that the retouchers were to hand throughout the studio shoot. Happy Finish retoucher Lee Hickman said: "The stairlift image presented us with a particular challenge. In any image where elements are being scaled up or down it is of the utmost importance to select the correct lens and angle from which to shoot in order to give a realistic impression of perspective.
Being on set offered peace of mind, as we were able to put together a comp to check perspectives and allowed us to make any necessary corrections. It can be difficult to visualise how a multi layer comp will work and in these situations it becomes our responsibility, as retouchers, to ensure that all the necessary elements are captured. "
