Canon Digital Ixus 80 IS campaign
December 2008
This international campaign for Canon's Digital Ixus 80 IS is currently being rolled out in full force, including two billboards just outside our Shoreditch office! The concept for the campaign was for the internal workings of the camera to be made up of objects from every day life, reflecting the individuality of each Canon camera user.

To achieve this effect of personalisation, attention to detail was paramount for Happy Finish retoucher, Stefano Cherubini, who comments on his work on the campaign and collaborating with Netherlands based advertising agency Cayenne Communications, and photographer Sophie Broadbridge: "The objects were highly tweaked in post production, we controlled everything from the colour of knobs on amplifiers to the designs on the frisbees.

We decided that the props would all be shot independently instead of in situ, allowing us much more flexibility to play around with shapes and arrangements. We could also play with scale in a fun way which lended itself to the tone of the ad."
