This month's edition of Dazed and Confused features a cover story by our very own Valentina D'Ettorre who worked on the sleek and edgy editorial photographed by Mariano Vivanco.
Including an 8-page story on girls-wanna-be-boys 'Transformers', her 2nd Dazed cover in the last 3 months is yet another one to add to the many contributions of Happy Finish retouching to Dazed and Confused over the years. About her first collaboration with Mariano Vivanco, who's portfolio includes campaigns for D&G, Prada, GQ and Cesare Paciotti, Valentina says: "I very much enjoyed working with Mariano, a photographer who is so passionate about the detail and high quality of his work. Whilst we did want to keep the image very natural, we worked on bringing out its edginess by focussing on playing with the colours and contrast.
The image flows with the current trend towards black&white punkrock chique, but the little accents of colour in the makeup, mouths and tattoos give it just the right amount of spice."
