full circle for the D&G boys

With the world cup rapidly approaching, Mariano Vivanco and Happy Finish’s Chris Roome gives us something to look forward to with the Italian National football team modelling Dolce & Gabbana’s latest Calcio line.
The new campaign evolved from the success of the original D&G Italian football team ad back in 2006, Mariano’s first collaboration with Chris Roome. Since then, the two have worked together on a multitude of projects, now coming full circle to recreate the D&G steamy locker room scene, with an almost new selection of Italian players.
“Working with Mariano is always a pleasure”, retoucher Chris Roome tells us “he is professional, meticulous and is always successful in creating a beautiful image”
The commemorative new line goes on sale Mid May, in time for the world cup. For more information on the collection visit the D&G site or local stores. A video from the shoot can be found on Mariano’s blog site along with more pictures.
