"You can lose more than your patience" is the strong message of our newest collaboration with AOP award winning photographer Julia Fullerton-Batten on a campaign for the Nobody's Children Foundation, a polish charity which provides assistance to abused children, their parents, and carers.
Despite the serious subject matter, the project was a positive success story. "The kids were great to work with. I asked the boy whether he wanted to cry and off he went!" Julia tells us about the shoot. Talk about crocodile tears! "I asked the girl to look sleepy. She slipped into a day dream like state, which was just perfect for the look of the campaign." Happy Finish retoucher Stefano expertly combined images of the children with others of smashed porcelain dolls.
"This was a very sensitive project," explains Stef. "At times it can be difficult to stomach these kind of images, especially when working on them. But such messages call for a strong emotional impact, to really bring home the cost of ignoring cries for help. I am proud to have been part of such important charity work."
