Photographer: Chris Levine
Chris Levine’s newest exhibition “Stillness At The Speed Of Light” opens this May. The collaboration with Happy Finish’s Dan Moloney saw the creation of impressive 3D holographic images of the legendary Grace Jones on display at the Vinyl factory in London’s Soho.
Following Levine’s success from the HRH Queen Elizabeth II images back in 2008, the ground breaking photographer used lights and lasers to create his newest collection. It even features a Philip Treacy Swarovski crystal encrusted bowler hat, originally used on the Grace Jones tour by Levine to create a shower of lasers onto the audience.
Dan explains, “Working with Chris has been a first for me but very exciting. He wanted images that would complement the large 3D lenticulars for the show. The launch party definitely showed this was achieved beautifully.”
The exhibition is open for viewing from the 30th April to the May 14th at the Vinyl Factory on 51 Poland Street, Soho, London. The portraits are also available to view and purchase at the exhibition and on his site.
