Matt Painter's recent collaboration with Benedict Redgrove has impressively shown what Happy Finish CGI can do for photographers.
Long-term client Redgrove, famous for his passion for clean-cut style, was granted his wish of shooting in Saarien's futurist TWA flight center - and travel back in time to the 1960's. "The TWA, terminal 5 of JFK International Airport in New York, has been built up and altered so much over the years, you can hardly recognize the original iconic landmark," explains Matt. "The building has been out of use and closed since 2001, it would have been a shame to lose this unique shoot location."
"CGI was the perfect tool to create a photo-realistic environment for Ben to shoot his models in: accessible 24/7 and no admission fee! The TWA is an extraordinary place: there are very few human proportions, and the open spaces and sweeping, curved roof are so out of this world, it was great to hit the right balance between recreating the TWA's 1960's glory and keeping it photo-real. We're very happy to have worked with Ben on such a groundbreaking project."
